You will miss me
everytime you come across
a resturant or cafe
or if you simply saw a cup of hot chocolate

you will remember me
everytime you read words of poetry
for every emotion splattered across
will remind you of my pain

you will be reminded of me
everytime you hear someone
tell stories of me
for i touched their soul with my essence

you will miss me. so very loudly
every god damn time you hear
anyone laugh
for no one could laugh like us

and you will miss me terribly
everytime the cold hits you
and you light up the ciggarette
not standing in the warmth of my presence

you will grow to be distracted
with the familiarity of my scent
the scent of my perfume
or the non existence of it

you will regret pushing me far
when you realize
everytime im not there beside you
you dont know who else to count on

you will miss me so
terribly, loudly, regretfully.
just like the way
i know ill miss you.
