The Real YOU When you're ready to wake up, you're going to wake up, and if you're not ready you're going to stay pretending that you're just a 'poor little me.' And since you're all here and engaged in this sort of inquiry and listening to this sort of lecture, I assume you're all in the process of waking up. Or else you're teasing yourselves with some kind of flirtation with waking up which you're not serious about. But I assume that maybe you are not serious, but sincere -- that you are ready to wake up. So then, when you're in the way of waking up, and finding out who you really are, what you do is what the whole universe is doing a the place you call here and now. You are something that the whole universe is doing in the same way that a wave is something that the whole ocean is doing... The real you is not a puppet which life pushes around; the real, deep down you is the whole universe. So then, when you die, you're not going to have to put up with everlasting non-existence, because that's not an experience. A lot of people are afraid that when they die, they're going to be locked up in a dark room forever, and sort of undergo that. But one of the interesting things in the world is--this is a yoga, this is a realization--try and imagine what it will be like to go to sleep and never wake up. Think about that. Children think about it. It's one of the great wonders of life. What will it be like to go to sleep and never wake up? And if you think long enough about that, something will happen to you. You will find out, among other things, it will pose the next question to you. What was it like to wake up after having never gone to sleep? That was when you were born. You see, you can't have an experience of nothing; nature abhors a vacuum. So after you're dead, the only thing that can happen is the same experience, or the same sort of experience as when you were born. In other words, we all know very well that after other people die, other people are born. And they're all you, only you can only experience it one at a time. Everybody is I, you all know you're you, and wheresoever beings exist throughout all galaxies, it doesn't make any difference. You are all of them. And when they come into being, that's you coming into being. You know that very well, only you don't have to remember the past in the same way you don't have to think about how you work your thyroid gland, or whatever else it is in your organism. You don't have to know how to shine the sun. You just do it, like you breath. Doesn't it really astonish you that you are this fantastically complex thing, and that you're doing all this and you never had any education in how to do it? Never learned, but you're this miracle? Our love is God

As lovers, we often tend to forget
the reason behind our existence
I spend more time mourning you
than to ever wonder
why I love you in the first place
and perhaps this is where the universe
decided to step in to separate me from you
to test me
whether the separation I feel
is real

but there is no such thing as separation
goodbyes never existed between us
which is why we never uttered the word
because we never merely loved with our eyes
we loved with our heart and soul
because lovers like us, we don't just meet someday
nor do we meet somewhere
we are in each other all along
you dance inside my chest where no one sees you
you linger on my lips where no one can taste you
you stay on my skin, kissing my being
you follow my existence, where no one can touch you
you see, our love is only for me to feel
and our love is to be like god
for what do mortals know
when we are a work of art?

solar eclipse

i  would like to tell you the story
of how i met the my love in the sky
i knew not how he shined or how he glowed
for all i glimpsed was him running before nigh'

i would chase after the sun for days on end
days that turned to months alone
from east to west i would trace my lover's path
always to hide behind the clouds unknown

for one day i grew tired of chasing
the moonlight dimmed a little that night
the humans cried in fear of the darkness
as the moon grew tired of her light

the sun finally noticed his lover
as i started hiding away my beauty
so chase he did through the wind and clouds
to bring me from within

they say the moon tried to run from the sun
just as the sun once did to the moon
but the sun was fierce, strong and brave
the chase was over all too soon

for the moment the 2 lovers met in the sky
the clouds turned red from their love
the sun gently kissed the moon
and hid her from prying eyes above

in turn the moon glowed a little brighter
and begged the gods to give them this moment
she waxed and waned and melted in her lover's embrace
as the skies fought to cover the moment

but their reunion was just so strong
that the beings from below fell on their knees to worship
for a love so strong and so true
could never exist within their realms

but soon the moon cried out in agony
as the gods tore the lovers apart
the crops were dying without the suns heat
and in turn so was her heart

the sun swore to meet her again
at the same spot next year
and so began their chase again
the only time they could cherish dear

the humans called it the solar eclipse
for the passion of the moon and the heat of the sun
burnt through eyes that were not meant to see
love that strong and pure as our one

and pure and strong our love is
for my soul longs for the sun only
and his tendrils in touch seem to gently caresss my face
when twilight arriveth for us to meet briefly

so all i can hope is that one day
you will experience the love i have  with mine
for though the sun may not know just how much
the moon loves him more than he could shine

to my sun

i love you

fusion

And it felt as if our souls had fused together
Your lips were lillies
Lilting upwards with the tilt of your head
As your face descended upon me
And i was but a simple white Rose
Wilting under the passion
The intensity
The heat of your love
My petals curled themselves inwards
As i rose on my toes to meet you halfway

And we met halfway
Your hands found themselves home in my hair
Your teeth found themselves embedded in my skin
And i was a shivering mess of gold
Melting under your passion

How is it
That one man
Can undo me such
That i become nothing under his kiss?

Only you have the power to undo all of me
And put me back together
Just wanting you even more
How do you do so?

Inner child

Oh my friend, my familiar friend I've picked up this pen to write  Too many thoughts of you  Too many anger-filled words Too many sorrow...
