with eyes full of wisdom and pain
she was enticing
pulling him in with her words and quirky one lipped smiles

she was but a storm
full of raging emotions and anger
she was the sea
washing over every notion

she was the sky
for she took over his thoughts
she was his legs
when his worked naught

she was his shoulder
when he learnt to walk again
she was his destruction
when she left him in the rain

she was fire
burning everything in her way
he was ice
thawing everyday

she was his thirst
 a salvation from the world
while he was her anchor
holding her ashore

but people like her didnt want to be ashore
they wanted to be free
so one cold night, one last love
he let her be

she soared away through his skies
she took with her all the pain
leaving him empty and numb
never to be seen again

for she was a bird
not to be caged
the only way shed want to be remembered
is through the ink in his pages

so he wrote her everyday
he shared his stories
for though she was gone
she was forever in history

And though shes gone
he looks up and smiles
for he can still feel her giggles
though its been a while

dont be afraid to let go
if they do not want to be found
love them, like he did her
for sometimes
people like them
do not walk on the same ground
