A color that looked good on me
How is it that one man
Without lifting his finger
Turned a broken soul
Into the garden of Eden ?
My lips, they sprout honeydews and peony
A toothy smile with a kiss of acceptance
How is it that one man
Without looking at my soul
Turned my ravaged lips
To sing hymns of love ?
They mapped the origins of our soul into this human skin
The tattoos glow ever so brightly to continuously remind you
How perilous our existence is . To keep repeating a cycle of living
To learn a lesson before dying
Humans. To think you could have the power of every knowledge you desire
If you only learned to find your soul.
You adorned my head with roses
Peonies and honeydews spewed from your smile
Dark russets looked up at me in full bloom
As I fell in love with what's mine
-To fall in love with you again
