Dreaming

For a second i wondered if i was dreaming, when i woke up and glanced to my left to see you breathing so peacefully in your sleep. And when i tried raising a hand to touch you, i realized your hand was resting on my chest, on top of my heart, while my hand rested gently on top of yours.  And i realized it was real

You were sleeping next to me , looking like an angel underneath the glow of your night lamp.

And i quietly took my hand away and ran it through your hair  .

And babe you smiled .. perhaps the sweetest smile ive ever seen you give me.

And i fell in love all over again
